1. Product Overview
5SHY3545L0010 is ABB 4500V StakPak asymmetric IGCT die, paired with dedicated gate drive board 3BHB013088R0001 as a complete power switching unit. It adopts snubberless topology combining high conduction capacity of GTO and fast turn-off performance of IGBT. Fiber optic communication provides full galvanic isolation between low-voltage control system and 4.5kV high-power circuit, avoiding high voltage interference to turbine main controller UCVE/SDCC. The integrated GDU integrates pulse amplification, power supply, multi-channel fault detection and status feedback circuits. Widely deployed in GE EX2100 generator excitation converters for steam/gas turbine power plants, also used in ABB medium voltage variable frequency drives. Water cooling design supports continuous 1200A heavy load operation, long service life for 24/7 power station duty. ABB discontinued original new production, refurbished and surplus modules are mainstream spare parts.
